The rule that we had the most difficulty with was the one around "provide choices within limits". We struggle with this because it can feel like with behavior, we are always putting out fires, not getting optimal results, just getting the bad behavior to stop for the moment. We can support each other by saving some time during our grade level meetings to converse around what worked and what didn't. We liked the idea of the savings account, where the positive relationship is built so that you share the control and can make withdrawls when you need to, as long as there have been many deposits!
